I’ve let her water taste my skin
The strength in her waves,
moved my soul.
Salt kissed my lips as I dove in her endless,
wanders.
I felt her song and wanted,
to get lost in it.
Wanted to get lost,
deeply in her world.
Her waves rose,
then softly descended.
I let her numbing touch,
consume me.
I felt safe in the unknown.
She shared her secrets with me.
Afterwards,
I felt safe.
I looked up while I drifted away.
The clouds looked alive,
as they moved.
They mirrored my being,
The wind brushed my face,
But the rain came down to meet their home.
Her thunder roared,
her air smelt like…
paradise on Earth.
From a distance I saw the land,
that would soon meet my wandering steps.
In search to discover,
why her sand was soft,
And her trees sang,
the stories of my childhood.
I knew her nature but,
she was too limitless to really ever understand
